Titus Day, Guy Sebastian's former manager, has been arrested after allegedly defrauding the singer of more than $1.15 million over a seven-year period.
South Sydney detectives arrested Day, 47, at his home in Bondi yesterday. He was taken to Waverley Police Station, where he is expected to be charged with fraud-related offences.
In a sattement by NSW Police, "On Wednesday 3 June 2020, officers from South Sydney Police Area Command received a report regarding the alleged fraud committed. Further inquiries revealed a number of frauds allegedly committed between December 2013 and April 2020."

The pair had, until recently, been been locked in a dispute, each alleging the other owed them monies. Day's management company, 6 Degrees, had alleged Sebastian owed it for unpaid royalties. That claim agaist the singer was dropped by administrators when the company was placed into liquidation last year.
In May, Sebastian's current manager, Jen Fontaine, released a statement regarding an amendment to the counter-proceedings the singer has brought against Day. It referred to $20,000 that Day allegedly received on behalf of Sebastian for international royalties.
The statement read, in part, "... Mr Sebastian will allege that in January this year, an overseas royalty collection agency attempted to make a payment to 6 Degrees as it had done before.
"The payment bounced. By that stage, 6 Degrees was under control of liquidators and it is expected the 6 Degrees account used previously was closed by them. Mr Day was notified of the bounced payment and provided new payment instructions to an account not known to Mr Sebastian or the liquidators."
That trial was slated for June but was delayed because of of COVID-19.
It's been an eventful period for Sebastian was apparently 'cancelled' by the Twitterati following his appearance alongside Prime Minister Scott Morrison when announcing a $250 million 'rescue package' for the arts industry. He is also currently a judge on season 9 of The Voice.
