A new touring mini festival visiting regional centres, Higher Sounds is the project of Guy Sebastian who is curating a collection of his favourite soul, roots performers for a spectacular evening of entertainment.
Guy will be joined by Queensland's country-folk-roots kings Busby Marou, soulful crooner Jarryd James and the awe-inspiring vocals of veteran blues-soul sister duo Vika and Linda. To kick off in mid-September running across 10 Saturday nights, the Higher Sounds tour will travel to Hervey Bay, Mudgee, Adelaide, Perth, Yarra Valley, Ballarat, Hunter Valley, Berry, Canberra and Parramatta.
"I have been dreaming of an event like this for years, it's been a long time coming," enthuses Guy, who'll headline each event performing from his own back catalogue as well as soulful renditions of some of the greatest songs of all time.
"I am thrilled to finally have the opportunity to get out on the road, to travel and perform at outdoor venues that are set in beautiful locations with some incredible artists by my side.
"My greatest love is to perform live and 2022 is certainly the year of live music! Performing at these venues with such a talented line-up of fellow artist, who I admire so much, will certainly be a career highlight.
"It's going to be a day of killer tunes, soulful renditions, big voices, phenomenal musicianship, a show like never before."
