Groundwater Country Music Festival Add More Talent To 2022 Line-up

After revealing a bumper first crop of artists earlier this year (including Fanny Lumsden, Travis Collins and Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley), Groundwater Country Music Festival (CMF) have added another 18 acts to their 2022 line-up.

Across three days and nights of (free) country music rhythms and grooves, Groundwater CMF returns to Gold Coast's Broadbeach 28-30 October.

The new arrivals include a stack of Aussie expat talent set to showcase their wares in front of local audiences including Nashville-based country-pop duo Seaforth – who won APRA Awards (Global) 2020 Breakthrough Songwriter Of The Year award – in their only Queensland appearance.

"Our Australian tour has been a long time coming so we can't wait to get back home and kick off our run of shows at Groundwater CMF. It's our only show in Queensland so we'd love to see ya," shares Seaforth.

Other Aussie acts returning home are bluegrass performer Kristy Cox (who released her new album 'Shades Of Blue' in February) and Brisbane sister trio Dozzi – who have ingrained themselves in Nashville's local scene.

Then there's INXS member Andrew Farriss (who's gone solo treading an Americana-rock path) alongside New Zealand favourite Tami Neilson, who is back for her only Australian performance this year.

Adds Tami: "Coming to play in Australia for the first time in three years is going to feel like a long drink of water after being in the desert! I can't wait to sing for you all!"

Other highlights of the new crop of artists are Andrew Swift, Jayne Denham, The Viper Creek Band, Darlinghurst, Chloe Styler, Montgomery Church and Hayley Marsden.

Groundwater CMF continue their support of local, emerging talent with 2022 Star Maker winner Max Jackson and the inaugural KIX-Start competition winner Bella MacKenzie joining the action.

"We're stoked to be able to add some extraordinary international talent to our 2022 Groundwater CMF programme and welcome home some of our own homegrown stars as well," Groundwater CMF Festival Director Mark Duckworth says.

"I can't wait to kick back and enjoy some incredible live music and to share it all with our loyal festival fans on the beautiful Gold Coast."

Groundwater Country Music Festival is free and takes place in Broadbeach (Gold Coast) 28-30 October.
