With a line-up that already features The Wolfe Brothers, Adam Harvey, Sara Storer, Gina Jeffreys and a stack more, Groundwater Country Music Festival have added even more talent to their 2021 programme.
The completely free, non-ticketed festival staged on the Gold Coast right next to the beach (12-14 November) that attracted 73,000 people in 2019 will also welcome the charismatic and charitable legend Adam Brand, four-time Golden Guitar winner Catherine Britt (who is a favourite of Sir Elton John), Kiwi country queen Kaylee Bell and local country hero (and two-time reigning Gold Coast Music Awards' Artist Of The Year) Casey Barnes."Nothing beats a hometown show and they don't come much bigger than the Groundwater Country Music Festival," Casey declares.
"Easily one of my favourite festivals to perform at, plus it's in one of the most incredible locations in Australia. Can't wait to see you all for one heck of a weekend in November."
Other new additions include Mick Thomas' Roving Commission, Brad Butcher, The Audreys, Halfway, Melanie Dyer and Darlinghurst.
Catherine Britt shares Casey's excitement. "I can't wait to get back to the sun and sand of Queensland's beautiful Gold Coast for one of Australia's premier country music festivals, Groundwater.
"After the year it's been for everyone, I'm so excited to bring my band and play a bunch of new songs from my 'Home Truths' album – along with all the fan favourites. See you there and let's have some fun."
