Can't get to any legs of the Falls Festival, or WA's Southbound Festival, but can get to the Sydney Opera House? Grizzly Bear have got you covered.
The Brooklyn demigods will make their first appearance at Australia's most iconic venue on Sunday January 5, embarking on a thorough journey through 10 years of heartbreaking harmonies.
"Grizzly Bear's soaring, emotive harmonies and dazzling sonic ambition will sound phenomenal in the Opera House Concert Hall," said Ben Marshall, Head of Contemporary Music. "Grizzly Bear are an incredible live proposition at the best of times and I know the occasion of their Opera House debut will be one of the very finest live shows Sydney sees this summer."
The Grizzly Bear show is the latest entry in the Music At The House program, which has already included performances by Calexico, James Blake and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, and is set to continue with Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Iron & Wine and The National.
