A couple of young woman creating massive waves on the international music scene, Brit Awards' 2021 Rising Star winner Griff ('Black Hole', 'Good Stuff') and Norwegian singer-songwriter Sigrid ('Strangers', 'Mirror') come together for the first time on the feverish pop banger 'Head On Fire'.

The pair have forged a friendship during the pandemic after meeting at London Fashion Week, so it was only natural they'd end up in then studio writing and recording new material.

The result is an empowering anthem perfect to inspire the next gen of fierce talent.

"Griff and I met sharing a pizza at the Rueben Selby show at Fashion Week in London, haha," admits Sigrid.

"We went to the studio a while later and just had a day of talking about life, before writing 'Head On Fire'.

"It's about that feeling when you meet someone who just flips everything upside down and you can't focus on anything else but that person. Sarah's [Griff] just lovely, and it's been so much fun working with her."

The duo worked with CC Wade (Michael Kiwanuka, King Krule, Fat White Family) to create the 'Head On Fire' music video.

For Griff, working with Sigrid was a young girl's dream come true. "I've looked up to Sigrid so much, especially as a young girl who broke through making powerful, credible pop music," Griff says.

"So I was excited to hear she wanted to write. We hung out and made 'Head On Fire', this really fun, feel-good song, and I'm excited for the world to finally hear us on a track together."
