Sydney indie rocker Green Buzzard keeps up the pace with a forthcoming remix EP of his debut album 'Amidst The Clutter & Mess', working with DJ-producer Tunnel Signs.
A work in progress, the aptly titled 'Masquerader Versions' EP sees Green Buzzard's debut album get a thorough reworking by Tunnel Signs, the non de plume of Ash Moses who has most recently worked with Cut Copy on their Cutters label.
'Masquerader Versions' is an acid tinged re-imagining of 'Amidst The Clutter & Mess', and the product of many late nights spent between Tunnel Signs and The Buzzard himself. Bonding over their common ground, the EP finds the sweet spot between the duo’s two contrasting musical worlds.
The latest offering from the record is second cut 'Country Life (Masquerader Version)', sparkling and heady remix intertwining vocal samples and found sounds with feedback and rolling drum fills. It follows on from the first release, 'Clutter & Mess (Masquerader Version)'.
The solo project of musician Paddy Harrowsmith, Green Buzzard will be performing as support for English indie outfit Gengahr when they play Sydney as part of their upcoming Australian tour. Genghar are touring off the back of their third full-length album 'Sanctuary'.
Green Buzzard’s debut album 'Amidst The Clutter & Mess' saw global acclaim, reaching an impressive #7 on the US Commercial Specialty radio charts and #66 on the overall US college radio album charts with additional support from international and local media outlets alike.
With 'Masquerader Versions', Buzzard hopes to bring his music to even more ears as he presents a collection of reworked tracks that will take you from afternoon drinks to the club.
