It’s another beautiful year of vibrant music from around the world as Port Fairy Folk Festival returns.
Thousands of music lovers will once again converge on the seaside destination of Port Fairy in Victoria for the Port Fairy Folk Festival across the March long weekend in 2024. From across the seas to the festival comes prolific 1970s songwriter and Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Graham Nash.
He’s a founding member of both the Hollies and Crosby, Stills and Nash, and he’ll launch his first solo headline tour of Australia by spending two days in Port Fairy. Performing songs from across his 60-year career, Nash will be joined by long-time musical partners Shane Fontayne and Todd Caldwell.
“We are honoured to have an icon such as Graham Nash perform at our festival. Our audiences will be drawn to his storytelling and song which I am sure can be found in many record collections around the world,” Port Fairy Folk Festival Program Director Justin Rudge says.
“This first line-up represents contemporary and classic folk as told through some of the greatest singer-songwriters of today and we are so excited to be sharing this music with music lovers and the community of Port Fairy.”
Also on the line-up are fellow Americans Cam Cole and The SongBirds, featuring Dannielle De Andrea, Erica Canales and Gaby Moreno.
Making their Port Fairy Folk Festival debut is Canada’s Quote The Raven, Norway’s Gangar, Scotland’s Gnoss, Finland’s Teho and Irish singer songwriter Lorraine Nash. Lorraine is joined by Ireland’s Daoirí Farrell who returns to the festival after wowing the crowds in 2019.
From our shores comes Alice Skye, Sarah Blasko, and Sons Of The East.
Tickets are on sale now.
Port Fairy Folk Festival is on Port Fairy (Victoria) 8-11 March 2024.
