Currently on the road with Taylor Swift – who handpicked the 'I Miss You, I'm Sorry' and '21' artist as the opening act as part of the ongoing Eras tour – Gracie Abrams will tour Australia early 2024.
With headline concerts scheduled for Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in January, these will be the debut Australian live performances by the US singer-songwriter."Taylor Swift you know how changed I am by this tour. I will never be able to thank you enough for your friendship and your music and your genius," Gracie recently posted to her IG.
"I'm just so proud of everyone involved in this tour. It's been the wildest summer of my life getting to watch every single person work so beautifully and flawlessly. And everyone had fun doing it, like I've truly never been around a kinder group of people.
"Just constant support and generosity of spirit. I'll never know how I got so lucky to witness it all. Thank you to everyone who indulged us while we waited for Taylor every night. 30 Eras shows!!!!!????? I cannot possibly wait for next year. Thank you forever."
After releasing her debut EP, 'Minor', in July 2020 followed by her second EP, 'This Is What It Feels Like' in 2021, in February this year Gracie released her debut album, 'Good Riddance'. Abrams' music has so far amassed 3.6 billion streams and 110M YouTube views.
"Aaron Dessner [The National, producer and co-writer of 'Good Riddance'] I LOVE YOU! I love you so much. This album means the most to me for a million different strange and complicated and delicate reasons and I'll never have the right words to express my gratitude for the process making it.
"For knowing you, for trusting you with all my secrets, for learning from your wisdom and your kindness and your light. Aaron, there is no one like you. Thank you for letting me into your world.
"Thank you all for listening. Thank you for your support. I just love you so much it hurts."
