From the same crew who put together Here Comes The Sun, Sugarloaf Rock and Out Of The Woods Festival, Good Day Sunshine Festival returns in 2022 headlined by American soul, R&B artist and Grammy Award winner, Leon Bridges.
Set to take over Busselton Foreshore (24 September), Good Day Sunshine offers a day out by the ocean with soulful and uplifting music pared with the finest beverages and tastiest food the South West has to offer.Initially staged in 2020 as one of the first music festivals produced in a COVID-safe environment, joining Leon Bridges in 2022 will be blues-rock-gospel act and four-time ARIA Award winners The Teskey Brothers ('So Caught Up', 'Pain And Misery') as well as Aboriginal-Australian rock-folk singer-songwriter Thelma Plum ('Clumsy Love', 'Homecoming Queen').
Another celebrated Australian singer-songwriter and producer, indie artist Josh Pyke – who recently released his newest single 'If You Don't Know Me, Who Am I' from his next studio album 'To Find Happiness' due later this month – joins the Good Day Sunshine Festival.
Renowned WA artist Abbe May (winner of a staggering 21 WAM Awards), Central Coast indie folk trio Little Quirks and local alt-country singer-songwriter Siobhan Cotchin will also be part of the action.
"Let's go, WA! Good Day Sunshine Festival is happening this September with all of these legends. We can't wait to get back over to the west," The Teskey Brothers says.
Adds Thelma Plum: "WA! It's been way too long, can't wait to see you in September for Good Day Sunshine Festival."
While Josh Pyke is equally excited to head west. "YESSS!! This show is going to be awesome! I can't wait to play over in WA for this one – it's been too long!"
