Yes, there's more than a chill in the air currently but Australia's east coast will experience a heat wave this November when Glass Animals arrive down under.
The Grammy-nominated English indie rock, psych pop band will headline concerts in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. The news arrives in the wake of Glass Animals recent album announcement.'I Love You So F...ing Much' is the Oxford natives fourth studio album that's due 19 July (pre-order it); the band have teased the record, which is detailed as 'ten intimate love stories, set against the backdrop of the vast universe', with the singles 'A Tear In Space (Airlock)' and 'Creatures In Heaven'.
"Australia. We love you so f...ing much," frontman Dave Bayley says. "When we first came to tour over there, we only had like four songs. So we played them twice, and you forgave us, and then you gave us our first ever Hottest 100 success with 'Gooey'.
"Then you embraced 'Heat Waves' so hard I tattooed the shape of Australia on my arse cheek. It is my only tattoo. I forget it's there sometimes and it startles me when I get out of my bubble bath, but it makes me v happy – and I feel the same announcing this new Australian tour. The same happiness I feel when looking at my arse in the mirror. See you soon."
Tickets on sale from 10am AEST on 5 July.
