Owners of the current Hottest 100 #1 song 'Heat Waves' (that's also the most streamed song in Australia this year), English indie rockers Glass Animals will tour Australia next winter.
The quartet will play a trio of shows (Perth, Sydney and Melbourne) in July, performing material from their 2020 album 'Dreamland', a release that featured 'Heat Waves' – a song on par with Tones And I's 'Dance Monkey' for the most weeks spent in ARIA's Top 10 chart (41 weeks).Since their 2014 debut album 'Zaba', Glass Animals have notched up over two billion stream and toured the world and played some of the biggest festival stags including Glastonbury, Primavera and Coachella.
The UK group's current single (also lifted from 'Dreamland') is 'I Don't Wanna Talk (I Just Wanna Dance)'.
