Fresh off playing the Queen's Jubilee (that's still a thing, right?) 'Budapest' and 'Shotgun' singer-songwriter, Englishman George Ezra is returning to Australia – his first shows down under since 2019.
A winner of a Brit Award for Best British Solo Male in 2019 and with more than 7.5 million albums sold globally, Ezra will headline concerts in Sydney, Melbourne (on Melbourne Cup Eve), Brisbane and Perth this spring.Set to release his newest studio album 'Gold Rush Kid' (on 10 June), George has released three singles so far in 2022: 'Anyone For You', 'Green Green Grass' and the just released 'I Went Hunting'.
"'I Went Hunting’ is the next track from 'Gold Rush Kid' that I wanted you to hear," begins George, "because it comes at a point in the record where there's this shift in feeling; and these songs are some of the most introspective I can remember having ever been while writing.
"When I hear this song, I'm still very grateful to George from the past for being able to put into words something that at times feels impossible to explain."
Tickets on sale from 10am (local time) on 10 June.
