Already a confirmed starter at 2019 Bluesfest, Texan guitar-slinger Gary Clark Jr. will bring his hypnotic blend of blues, rock, soul and hip hop (as well as his band) to headline shows in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
Declared 'Best Young Gun' by Rolling Stone magazine, Gary will release his forthcoming new album, 'This Land', 1 March; he will also be making two performances at 2019 Bluesfest (19, 21 April).
With collaborations across a diverse selection of superstars – The Rolling Stones, Beyoncé, Foo Fighters, Eric Clapton, Nas and Booker T Jones – Gary released in 2017 a cover of The Beatles' 'Come Together' he made with Junkie XL, which featured in the DC/ Warner Bros film 'Justice League'.
