We're just going to spare ourselves the pain of offering up a description of the latest video to go hyper-viral on YouTube, Gangnam Style, and assume you've seen it.
The man behind the Gangnam Style video, which has clocked in over 350 million views, is Korean artist Psy, a slick, 40-something-by-the-looks-of-things (we don't even want to try Google) suited male who found international fame practically overnight. He's been doing the overseas talk show circuit; he recently appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show with Britney Spears, where he taught the two to dance Gangnam style.
And he is coming. Here. That's right, Psy is going to appear on Sunrise on October 15. In the same room as Kochie. The only way this situation could have the potential to be any more obnoxious is if Justin Bieber were invited.
And speaking of The Biebs, we were going to make a quip about how Gangnam Style has racked up more views than Baby - the previous reigning YouTube clip - but it appears Bieber fans won't take it lying down. In a matter of days, Bieber's Baby video has shot up to over 780 million views.
It's showdown time.
Interestingly enough, Psy and Justin Bieber share their managers in common. Yeah, we heard they're renaming themselves "The People Who Are Making Disgusting Amounts Of Money Over Disgusting Amounts Of Shit Music."
Psy will also do a stint on the X Factor stage.
