American rap-rock group, Fun Lovin' Criminals return to Australia early 2024.
The 'Scooby Snacks', 'Couldn't Get It Right' and 'Love Unlimited' band will headline concerts in Wollongong, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle in February. The tour celebrates the 25th anniversary of Fun Lovin' Criminals' second album, '100% Colombian', which the group will play in full, including the aforementioned 'Love Unlimited' as well as album singles 'Big Night Out' and 'Korean Bodega'.
Fun Lovin' Criminals currently feature Brian 'Fast' Leiser (the band's original bassist, keys player who took over lead vocals in 2021 from the departed original singer-guitarist Huey Morgan), Frank Benbini (drummer since 2003) and guitarist Naim Cortazzi (who joined the band in 2022).
"We are coming to party with you this February to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our second album '100% Colombian'," posted the band. "We will be performing the album in its entirety as well as all the hits and fan faves."
"It will be and honour to perform the songs from '100% Colombian to our fans'," shares Lesier. "This album holds a special place in their hearts and we are committed to delivering unforgettable performances while bringing a fresh energy to the stage."
Adds Benbini: "It's going to be very special. For more than two decades, I've nurtured the songs live from '100% Colombian', but never before have played the album in its entirety. It will be simply great to bring that album alive in full technicolour for the fans of the band."
While newest member Cortazzi is "thrilled to be part of this milestone tour and contribute my own style to the iconic Fun Lovin' Criminals sound.
