Part music festival, part Oktoberfest, Adelaide's Froth & Fury Fest returns in 2024 landing at its new home and headlined by two of the biggest heavy Australian acts.
With the volume turned to 11 and the beer taps all the way open, Froth & Fury Fest will descend on The Harts Mill in Port Adelaide on 9 November for a day of 'wild mosh pits, ear-shattering riffs, and beer foam so thick you could crowd surf on it'.Alongside headliners Northlane ('Quantum Flux' and 'Bloodline') and Thy Art Is Murder ('Reign Of Darkness', 'Holy War'), Froth & Fury Fest will also welcome Americans Fear Factory (for their only Australian show) as well as The Hard-Ons' 40th anniversary show.
Taiwanese buddhist metallers Dharma will also journey to Adelaide for Froth & Fest. There'll also be two reunion performances from old-school local bands: '90s to early 2000s nu-metal rap chargers Testeagles and late '90s to mid 2000s metalcore act Day Of Contempt.
We received the following transmission from Testeagles: 'In an unprecedented event that has music enthusiasts and ufologists alike buzzing with excitement, the iconic Adelaide band Testeagles has announced their return to Earth after a mysterious two-decade absence.
'Rumours have swirled that the trio was abducted by extraterrestrial forces and used for slave musical labour on the planet Mars. The Froth & Fury Festival main stage will become a portal to the band's extraordinary journey, inviting fans to partake in a celebration that transcends time and space. The countdown to their landing has begun.'
Heavy fans will also be treated to a stack of veteran bands including Thornhill, Bodyjar, Psycroptic, C.O.F.F.I.N, and These New South Whales. Adds Thornhill: "We will be back later this year for Froth & Fury Festival for our only South Australian show for the year."
The next generation of emerging talent will also be represented with the likes of Future Static, Volatile Ways, and Pizza Death; plus locals like Blood Sucking Freaks, Signals, Lumen Ad Mortem, Sundowner, Witch Spit, Devoidance and Bifurcation.
