With many still nursing hangovers from the inaugural event last year, Adelaide's festival calendar greedily welcomes back Froth & Fury Fest – a day celebrating everything that is heavy, alternative, underground music and beer.
"It's time to tap the kegs, crack the cans and raise the horns as we cram all the ales and all the riffs you can handle into one colossal, bangin' beer-quake of a day," says the Froth & Fury Fest organisers."Once again, we are unleashing the fury at Pirate Life Brewing in Port Adelaide, South Australia, but this year we are going bigger, MUCH BIGGER!"
Heavy metal pirates from Scotland, Alestorm headline the 2022 line-up; the band will release their newest studio album 'Seventh Rum Of A Seventh Rum' on 24 June.
"Oh wow Australia! We're coming back to your silly ol' upside-down country to play a bunch of shows!
"It's been far too long since we've been down your way, and we can't wait to P.A.R.T.Y. with all of you."
Alongside Alestorm at Froth & Fury will be the grindin' punk-rock of King Parrot, the dynamic stylings of Void Of Vision, California death metal aggressors Skeletal Remains, and the anarchic energy of Clowns.
"We love Adelaide and we love beer. It's the truth," enthuses Clowns.
"Playing Froth & Fury fest in November and it will be our only Adelaide show for the rest of the year. You know what to do."
Other additions to the line-up include Gravemind, Witchskull, Werewolves, Diamond Construct, Nicolas Cage Fighter, Astrodeath and Mountain Wizard Death Cult.
Froth & Fury Fest takes place at Pirate Life Brewing (Adelaide) 19 November.
