RTRFM's annual takeover of North Fremantle is back to its tradition wintery home (19 June) after a one-off move to spring last year due to the pandemic.Set to take over The Railway Hotel, Port Beach Garden Bar, The Swan Basement and The Swan Lounge, the Fremantle Winter Music Party is your ideal landing spot to check out the best, emerging indie talent WA has to offer.
Whether it's beats, rhymes and soulful vocals or lo-fi, psych-filled sounds and pop-wondrous melodies, there'll be something on offer to satisfy any diehard live music fan.
At the Swan Lounge, some of the city's finest MCs and singers: Sowdy, Anesu, Drea, and Cruz Patterson will be joined by the visually stunning Myriad Sun.
"Aaayyy! Next show the Freo Winter Music Party. Mad rap line-up this year, much love to RTRFM 92.1 for putting us on! See you there," beams Myriad Sun.
Downstairs at the Swan Basement, an electric smorgasbord of performances will be offered by DV Stargaze, Gia Como, Claudie Joy and The Joy Boys, Ken Paolo and The Psychotic Reactions.
Or, head to the Railway Hotel and the newly revamped Port Beach Garden Bar outside where you can catch the psych-filled sounds of Hot Sand, indie magic from Cloning, lo-fi brilliance from Lo, pop-wondrous sounds from Ghost Care, a brand new show from Web Rumors, the debut show of Timothy Nelson's Indoor Fins, the in-your-face Yomi Ship and the magical sounds of Mt. Mountain.
