Whether you've been pottering in the garden, painting your walls a new colour or finally getting to those 'I'll never complete tasks 'cause I'm always too busy' items, do yourself a favour and whisk yourself away for a virtual date with Adam Page at the Woodville Town Hall.
It's time to immerse yourself in an NPR-Tiny Desk-style soiree as 'musical wizard' Adam Page joins forces with Woodville Town Hall for a series of live-stream concerts in their charming 1920s foyer commencing 1 May."I'm thrilled to be working with the team at Woodville," Adam says, "and grateful to the City of Charles Sturt for continuing to pay artists and provide arts to the community at this time.
"I've pulled together a fantastic line-up of original local music, so see you online Adelaide!"
The first three events are free to watch and feature Adam Page and Julian Ferraretto in a jazz duo (1 May), Aaron Thomas' old-style folk/ country (15 May) and Fleur Green's delicious aural palette (29 May).
Woodville Town Hall will expand the series by calling on local artists in City of Charles Sturt to apply to take part in the June series. For more about application details, click here.
"Here at Charles Sturt, we want to connect our community throughout this pandemic, and through arts and culture we can connect people and support our local artists," Mayor Angela Evans says.
"This is a new way to experience music; it is important for our mental health and well being to connect, share experiences, and celebrate the way music makes us feel."
