The Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane is teaming up with Brisbane Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and a unique selection of touring talent to present the inaugural 'Strings Attached' series.
The event will take place quarterly at the venue and feature 25 members from Brisbane Symphony Orchestra joined on stage by a different contemporary artist each time. It's a collision of sonic worlds, showcasing local Australian talent and offering entertainment for fans of both classical and contemporary music.
BSO will be led by conductor and violinist Antoni Bonetti. He is the Music Director and Founding Conductor of the 70-member BSO and Noosa Orchestra.
"Brisbane Symphony Orchestra is always pleased to accompany Australian contemporary artists and play music by Australian composers," Antoni says. "We have a proud history of accompanying singers and instrumentalists."

Fortitude Music Hall's John Collins says putting the 'Strings Attached' series together was a no-brainer.
"We're absolutely chuffed that the Federal Government have come on board to support this. It's the first time we've done anything like it and it's going to be so special hearing such a full sound behind some of our best talent with The Fortitude’s epic acoustics," John says. "Our team have a huge line-up planned for the series and we can't wait to share it with you."
'Strings Attached' kicks off at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall in February. Stay tuned for line-up news.
