American band For King + Country will return to their roots when they tour Australia in 2024.
The Christian pop, soft rock duo of Joel and Luke Smallbone – who were born in Australia, before immigrating to America settling in Nashville as children – will headline concerts in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane in May-June."Can you believe it!?," shares the duo. "Five, whole years since we last played in the southern hemisphere. It's time to return. Time for a homecoming.
"We'll be bringing music from our latest album 'What Are We Waiting For?', footage from our forthcoming film 'Unsung Hero' for an electrifying, high energy live show and more. We hope to see you at The Homecoming Tour across Australia this autumn."
With four Grammy Awards to their name already (including Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2020), For King + Country received their eighth Grammy nomination in 2024 for their collaboration with Jordin Sparks ('Love Me Like I Am').
A group whose hits include 'God Only Knows', 'Joy', 'Burn The Ships' and 'Together', For King + Country have also collaborated with Dolly Parton, Timbaland, Tori Kelly, Lecrae, and Needtobreathe.
Tickets on sale from 11am (local time) on 12 February.
