Folk In Broke 2015 Fire Up Festivities

Folk In Broke returns in 2015 to the lower Hunter Valley village of Broke – with a larger line-up than before.

The boutique festival now features 11 acts from a whole heap of styles from gentle folk to rollicking Celtic infused ditties, alt-country, grooving world music, blues, roots, old world and more. Including Maitland singer-songwriter Dave Well, Folk In Broke will also play host to Lloyd Spiegel, Alex Bowen, Gambirra and more.

There will be an intimate separate launch event on Friday 27 March at the historic Broke Community Hall with Jasmin Jones before the festivities light up on Saturday. Rocking it old school, the 11 bands will play on a single stage over the course of the festival with breaks in between sets so folks can grab a drink, try some of fantastic food on offer, browse the markets, check out the Busk Stop and talk about the wicked performances they’ve just experienced.
