Since forming in 2012, Queensland rockers Smoking Martha have played venues like The Cherry Bar, Vineyard, The Barwon Club, The Hi-Fi and The Hard Rock Cafe.
They've even supported Everclear and recorded an EP with Powderfinger's Ian Haug! But they haven't quite made it yet! Here are five ways you can tell:
1. When you have to wake up at 6am after three hours sleep from the gig the night before, and the reason is WORK!
2. Having to book tours and photo shoots in your ten-minute lunch break.
3. When your tour accommodation consists of Glamping... without the glam.
4. Spending the $20 from last night’s merch on a fishing rod because it's more efficient to keep the band fed that way.
5. When you are signing statutory declarations after your gig and not boobs.
