Five 2026 Australia Tour

Five
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and some beyond.

For the first time in 25 years, one of the biggest boy bands of all time Five return to Australia.

That's right, the original line-up of Sean, Ritchie, Scott, Abz and J (who reunited in February this year, marking the first time the original 'five' were back together since 2001), will Keep On Movin' headlining concerts in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne next May.

Originally forming in 1997 and showcasing an edgier style than most boy bands of the era, with dance-pop and rap-rock elements to their music, Five were a whirlwind of success.

"This has been a long time coming and it really does feel right for all of us now – 25 years on and we're so ready for it," Scott says.

"Reconnecting as Five over the last year has been special and I know I speak for all the boys when I say we can't wait to do this all over again. Hope you're ready!"

Signed by Simon Cowell, their debut single 'Slam Dunk (Da Funk)' peaked at #10 on the UK Singles Chart, before follow-up song 'When The Lights Go Out' opened the doors to the American market. Their self-titled debut album a year later would feature such global smash hits 'Got The Feelin'', 'Everybody Get Up', and 'It's The Things You Do'.

The band's fame really exploded with their second album, 'Invincible' (1999), containing the #2 UK hit 'If Ya Gettin' Down' as well as the #1s 'We Will Rock You' and 'Keep On Movin''.

By 2001, tensions within the band became evident despite releasing a third album 'Kingsize' and by year's end the group had broken up, with intermittent reunions featuring various incarnations of the line-up across the years.

Now in 2025, with fences mended, the new era of Five is ready to commence with a 25-date UK-Irish tour October-November after a massive UK summer of promotions. "We really can't wait to get back onstage together and see the fans, it's gonna go OFF! Let's gooooo," declares Abz.

Ritchie enthuses: "We all love Australia – I for one, lived there for several years and have such great memories from that period, so it's extra special we get to bring our tour there next year."

Tickets on sale from 11am (local time) on 29 August.
