It's the horror-comedy movie rock fans have been waiting for.
When legendary rockers Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock & roll history to record their tenth studio album hijinks and hilarity ensue.Once in the house, frontman Dave Grohl becomes possessed by demons and spirits, declaring "the sound of this house is the sound of album number 10".
Grohl stars alongside his Foo Fighters bandmates: drummer Taylor Hawkins, bassist Nate Mendel, guitarists Pat Smear and Chris Shiflett, and keyboard player Rami Jaffee.
'Studio 666' is directed by BJ McDonnell with the story written by Grohl. The film also features Jenna Ortega ('You'), Will Forte ('MacGruber'), Jeff Garlin ('The Goldbergs', 'Curb Your Enthusiasm') and Leslie Grossman ('American Horror Story'), plus comedian/ podcaster Whitney Cummings.
'Studio 666' is set to premiere in US theatres 25 February – an Australian release date is still to be confirmed.
