Sure, Splendour In The Grass is almost eight months away, but it's never too early for details of the bill to start trickling through.
UK trio London Grammar have already got appearances at Falls Festival, Southbound and Field Day locked in, but it sounds like they're up for one more Aussie festival.
"Yeah, they've already been talking about that," said guitarist Dan Rothman when The Vine asked him about an appearance at Splendour. "We were supposed to play it this year but they couldn't get us out there in time. It wasn't going to work, so I think it's always been the plan to go back next year."
Except for the fact that they've already got a number of Australian dates locked in, this one seems like a no-brainer — London Grammar are signed to Dew Process, who are a sister company of Splendour promoters Secret Sounds, who are promoting the group's January sideshows at Sydney's Metro Theatre on Tuesday January 7 and Melbourne's Prince Bandroom on Thursday January 9.
One down, a massive list of artists to go.
