Originally from PNG, Cairns-based soulful singer-songwriter Vivien Aisi has released her debut EP titled 'Lost In Time'.
Formally known as Ms. V, Vivian has spent the past decade supporting bands and artists (in the studio and on stage).Though it's only been recently that she has taken steps to progress her music career to the next chapter. "Initially I was self-conscious and held back a lot, afraid of my voice and the power behind it," Vivien says.
"The songs I recorded were very personal and opened up a few wounds. . . It has been a challenging decade and my music has been a major source of strength and healing throughout."
'Lost In Time' finds Vivien writing about her life experiences touching on themes of love, life and loss.
"I haven't stopped writing, creating since the EP was finalised. It certainly has opened up a new love for me and I am quite confident my next project will showcase my growth since my first track dropped."
Vivien Aisi launches 'Lost In Time' EP at Elixir Music Bar (Cairns) on 19 November.
