With an all-electronic line-up, Sydney's Field Day is going back to the future with a 2025 line-up stacked with the hottest dance names to bring the new year in glittery-sweaty, dopamine-rich style.
It's time to assemble your crew and plan to party 2024 away with a line-up led by big beat, drum & bass, grime duo Chase & Status ('Backbone', 'Baddadan', 'Disconnect'), who only toured Australia early 2024 with Luude.Speaking of the Australian producer, responsible for such dance-floor fillers as 'Big City Life', 'Down Under', 'Turn Me On' and 'Oh My', Luude aka Christian Benson will go back to back with drum n bass legends Pendulum, who'll perform a special DJ set at Field Day.
English dubstep, future jungle DJ-producer, Wilkinson ('Afterglow', 'Used To This', 'All For You') also joins the party, alongside American trap-bass producer RL Grime ('UCLA', 'I Wanna Know', 'Stay For It'), German happy hardcore artist horsegiirL ('My Barn My Rules', 'My Little White Pony') and Italian horse production group MEDUZA ('Pieces Of Your Heart', Lose Control').
Also from the UK headed to Field Day will be Joy (Anonymous), Ben Hemsley, Hannah Laing, D.O.D and Issey Cross. While Amsterdam's JYOTY, French duo Jersey and Americans Avalon Emerson and Cassö will also be in attendance.
Local talent includes Adelaide-born, London-based Sonny Fodera (the house music DJ-producer has collaborated and remixed artists such as Calvin Harris and Glass Animals) and Sam Alfred who has quickly become fan favourite with his signature house and techno sound reminiscent of the '90s.
"We're so happy to be going back to our roots and bringing back a 100 per cent dance music line-up for Field Day 2025," shares Field Day promoters.
"We want to make it as easy for people to have fun, celebrate the new year and get back to the dance floor and are pleased to offer starting tickets $50 cheaper than last year. We hope to see you there spreading love and positive vibes."
Tickets on sale from 12pm AEDT on 24 October.
Field Day takes place at The Domain (Sydney) on 1 January.
