After a three-year hiatus, garage-surf punks FIDLAR return to Australia in 2023 – "heading deyown ondah!"
Their first shows in Oz since 2019, the band will headline their own concerts in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle, as well as play music festival Super Fun Day (alongside their old mates Dune Rats) in Brisbane next March.The SoCal rockers began life playing house parties before building their own niche in Los Angeles' indie rock scene in the early 2010s, producing hits like 'Sober', 'No Waves' and 'Bad Habits'.
With a new EP in the works to be released early 2023, this year FIDLAR have a released a trio of singles: 'FSU', 'Sand On The Beach' and their current release 'Taste The Money' – the new works have been self-described as "leaning into the extremes".
Tickets on sale from 9am (local time) on 29 November.
