Port Macquarie's Festival Of The Sun weren't letting a pandemic stop them from hosting their annual party of music.
While the festival's usual trappings will be put to one side in 2020, event organisers have worked with the local community and law enforcement to create the all-ages event, Back In The Sun.Headlined by Hockey Dad with Jaguar Jonze, WHARVES and SCUFFS also hitting the stage, Back In The Sun will take place Friday 11 December on the waterfront of Westport Park in Port Macquarie.
"People in our community have grown up with FOTSUN, and we are more than stoked that we are able to make Back In The Sun a 2020 reality," Festival Director, Simon Luke says.
"The team have worked around the clock to create an event punters can safely attend, ending the year with great vibes!
"It is so important to us that we can kickstart our Aussie music, arts, and events culture, setting a new tone for 2021."
Due to COVID restrictions, there are only a limited number of 500 tickets available to Back In The Sun, which is an all-ages event. Tickets are on sale now.
Back In The Sun takes place at Westport Park (Port Macquarie) on 11 December, 5-9.30pm.
