After enduring a fallow year in 2020 due to, you know, COVID, Festival Of The Sun is ready to return to the festival calendar in 2021 to build on its 16-year history with three days of action in Port Macquarie (9-11 December).
They're bringing the musical goodies as well with Hermitude, The Chats and Middle Kids to headline – heck, they've even secured an international headliner in BENEE."Last year we all took a hit, but this just meant that 2021 can be our best yet," Festival Director, Simon Luke says.
"FOTSUN is marking its 17th year running and we can't wait to share the new and exciting things we have happening at our boutique BYO festival this year, even BENEE, an international act.
"All the veteran FOTSUNNERs and first timers should start getting prepared for a serious weekend of good times and great music."
Other artist-band additions to the line-up include A. Swayze & The Ghosts, The Buoys, Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys, Concrete Surfers, First Beige, Genesis Owusu, Hayley Mary, Jelly Oshen, Kim Churchill and The Lazy Eyes (plus a stack more).
There'll also be Shoosh headset parties and secret pop-up DJs appearing throughout the weekend. Plus if you want to pamper yourself go lavish and upgrade from the campsite with a new motel option.
Oh, and if dollars are a bit tight or totally lacking atm, Festival Of The Sun offer pay-over-time packages, so you worry about the money stuff later. Win-win hey!
Tickets are available now, but hurry as they're down to the final 750. More information.
2021 Festival Of The Sun takes place at Breakwall Holiday Park (Port Macquarie) 9-11 December.
