From the team behind Woodford Folk Festival, the 44th instalment of Festival Of Small Halls will feature UK folk artist Lucy Farrell and Australian blues-roots stalwarts Hat Fitz & Cara touring regional Victoria this autumn.
Alongside multiple appearances at Port Fairy Folk Festival, this leg of Festival Of Small Halls will return to beloved halls of all shapes and sizes as well as visiting new bush communities throughout March; from the Victorian Alps to the natural mineral springs of the Central Highlands, down to coastal Gippsland, taking in the greatness of the state as it goes.Kent-born, Canada-based, singer-songwriter, viola, fiddle and tenor guitar-player Lucy released her debut album 'We Are Only Sound' in 2023.
"I am so excited to return to Small Halls Australia, to explore more of the country through these beautiful halls and the communities behind them," shares Lucy, who along with Hat Fitz & Cara, featured on the New South Wales Resilience Tour 2023.
Famous for their larger-than-life folk festivals over the last two decades, Woodfordia presents a programme to be loved by their core base and new fans alike.
Hat Fitz & Cara are also gearing up for a great month. "We are rapt, chuffed and tickled to be welcomed back into your communities and to share our new songs and stories beneath the roofs of your beautiful small halls."
