Tastemaker music festival Farmer & The Owl have bolstered their 2019 offering with the addition of a second line-up featuring some superb, local Australian talent.
Joining US group Beach House as headliners will be Wollongong legends Hockey Dad, still riding the wave of success set off by their 2018 sophomore album 'Blend Inn'.
Fending off the backlash from his 'wardrobe malfunction' at the 2017 ARIA Awards, Kirin J Callinan will also take the stage at Farmer & The Owl.
Former Children Collide singer Johnny Mackay brings his Fascinator project to Farmer & The Owl from the US to showcase his triumphant album 'Water Sign', a collection of situational soundtracks influenced by wherever he was in the world at the time.
From the backyard sheds of Wollongong comes three-piece TOTTY who have exploded onto the scene with their debut single 'Riff' and follow-up tracks 'Sigh' and 'Uncomfortable'. Having moved on from their humble beginnings to share their music with the masses, TOTTY have built themselves a reputation as a band to keep an eye on and an ear out for.
Filling out the second line-up announcement is dreamy two-piece house-pop outfit TEES who will be bringing the nostalgia with their '90’s dancehall vibes, Coal Coast experimental outfit Tropical Strength and Melbourne-based producer, DJ and musician Jon Watts.
It's a massive addition to the Farmer & The Owl line-up that already includes Deafheaven, J Mascis, Joyce Manor, Stella Donnelly, Flint Eastwood, The Aints!, Totally Unicorn and a whole lot more.
