American post-rock band Explosions In The Sky return to Australia this May.
Their first live dates down under since 2017, the Texas group will be touring their 2023 album 'End' with concerts in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth as well as two Vivid Live dates at Sydney Opera House as part of Spunk Records 25th finale (with Aldous Harding and The Middle East).Known for their cathartic and euphoric live shows, 'End' is arguably the grandest Explosions In The Sky album to date.
It melds the quiet restraint and crushing weight of their early recordings with the aural exploration and ornate experimentation of their later works, all the while incorporating skills and insights gleaned from their increasingly deep film and television scoring experiences.
Tickets on sale from 9am EDT on 27 March, except Sydney shows which are currently available.
