Former New Found Glory guitarist Steve Klein has been arraigned in a Californian court on multiple charges, including lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 14 and possession of child pornography.
The arraignment occurred on December 12, 2013, the same day the Florida band split with Klein. The band announced via their Facebook page that they had parted ways with their guitarist and founding member, citing "personal differences".
The Idobi Radio reports that Klein pleaded not guilty to two counts of lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 14, three counts of lewd conduct with a minor 14 or 15, one count of intent to commit lewd act with a minor, and one count of possession of child pornography. The court document cites April 14, 2011, as the date of the violation.
Klein remains free until his next scheduled court appearances on March 20 and April 10. If found guilty of all charges, Klein faces a maximum prison sentence of 27 years.
The band has not commented on the story.
