Brisbane has a new, slick and queer event.
Cheated Hearts Launch Party will not disappoint fans of indie, electro, hip hop and mash ups.
DJs include Fingertips, Jane Doe, Frankie Trouble and DJ Mikey and with no commercial sets allowed, the night is set to be one to remember.
Fingertips (Sydney) has just finished as a finalist in the nationwide competition, She Can DJ, and is now MCing and producing her own music.
Jane Doe, who DJed at Sydney's World Bar and The Annandale Hotel before relocating to Brisbane, pushes the boundaries of indie, electro and hip hop with mixes featuring Bloc Party, Crystal Castles, M.I.A, Florence & The Machine, Major Lazer, Iggy Azalea and more.
Frankie Trouble has DJed for Pistol Whipped, Forcefed, Glass Ghost and Cut & Taste, just to name a few from an impractically long list, and has built a reputation for operating outside the mainstream.
Cheated Hearts Launch Party is Saturday October 6 at Barsoma.
