Songwriters from all across Queensland are now invited to enter their songs in the 2017 Queensland Music Awards, with submissions officially opening today.
QMusic returns to create an opportunity for Queensland’s most gifted emerging and established songwriters to gain the recognition they so richly deserve.
The 2016 Queensland Music Awards saw artists like Eves The Behavior, Sahara Beck, AYLA, Violent Soho and Blank Realm recognised for their musical output.
Gold Coast singer-songwriter Amy Shark describes winning the 2016 Pop Award as a game changer. “Even if you only have one song, send it in. The opportunities are endless and no matter what anyone tells me, I know deep down, the QLD Music Awards were the kick-start to the success I have achieved in 2016.”
