A re-invigoration of Perth's music and performing arts scene in the wake of COVID-19, Enliven Festival will feature five events across five weeks celebrating the local creative community.
Downsyde, Superego, Grace Barbé, Tangled Thoughts Of Leaving, Grievous Bodily Calm, Mt Mountain, Felicity Groom and Hyclass are just a sample of the bands who will be performing as part of Enliven Festival, which will be live streamed with a limited number of audience tickets available for selected shows as well.Curated by local artist and musician Steven Alyian, one of the team responsible for WA's Camp Doogs festival, and evoking the spirit of classic ABC TV music series 'Recovery', Enliven Festival will focus on live music performance mixed with pop-culture segments and comedy sketches.
Superego and Hyclass will headline the opening concert at The Bird (20 June), with Downsyde part of the four-act line-up at The Rechabite (18 July) that closes off the festival. Other concerts will be staged at The Sewing Room, Jack Rabbit Slims and Badlands Bar.
