Elton John will play six shows in Australia in December.
The Brit, who's definitely still standing will showcase his 40-foot wide chandelier only seen so far in the United States.
Today's announcement also confirmed the last performance of the tour will be the final performance in the Qantas Credit Union Arena (Sydney Entertainment Centre). Elton first performed at the SEC in 1984. In the ensuing 31 he has played 45 shows there to in excess of 475,000 people.

Elton said, “Australia has been one of my favourite countries to tour in ever since my first visit there at the start of my world-wide career in 1971 – it is incredible to think that my drummer on that tour, Nigel Olsson, is still with me today.
"Some of my most memorable concerts have taken place in venues all across the continent. The Australian audiences always seem to bring out the best in us, and I am certain there will be many more fantastic evenings when we visit in December.”
Elton, aka Reggie Watts, has had extra reasons to be cheerful this week as his beloved Watford FC – he's lifelong Chairman – won promotion to the English Premier League after an 8-year absence.
Elton and the band (Davey Johnstone on guitar, Matt Bissonette on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums, and Kim Bullard on keyboards) will be playing classic album tracks from his incredible career, including selections from 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.
