Although the Rocket Man bade farewell to his Australian fans for the final time back in late 2019, that dastardly pandemic meant Sir Elton John had to postpone his 2020 dates in New Zealand.
Now 'Reggie' has resumed his global tour farewelling all corners of the planet on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour (that kicked off in New York in 2018), he's returning to New Zealand to complete the postponed dates.Given the long-haul distance in reaching this part of the world, Elton has decided to cheekily add another run of (final) stadium shows in Australia including his very first concert appearance in Newcastle, alongside return trips to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane early 2023.
"Playing live to other human beings is the greatest gift any artist could ever have," shares Elton.
Australian fans, this will be your final opportunity to see such classics as 'I'm Still Standing', 'Rocket Man', 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart', 'Your Song', 'Tiny Dancer', 'Bennie And The Jets', 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road', 'Crocodile Rock' and 'Philadelphia Freedom' (plus a stack more) live.
"Join me for a night of memories, singalongs, and a fond farewell."
Tickets on sale from 1 August (times staggered).
