Australian singer-songwriter and TV-radio personality, Ella Hooper returns to the road for an extended run of solo shows this spring.
Set to venture through Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales, the Killing Heidi frontwoman has released another solo single from her forthcoming new album, set for release early in 2023.'Achilles Heel' is a country-tinged indie rock slow-dance brimming with fiery emotion and lyrics that paint an achingly honest portrait of flickering love.
"I left the blood on the page with this one," shares Ella detailing the sentiment behind the song.
"During the pandemic, I was thinking about the person I wanted to be with. I actually said how I felt and what I wanted.
"The song almost came out all at once. It felt scarily honest and very cathartic."
'Achilles Heel' follows previous album single 'Old News'. Joining Ella on the road will be Angie Colman for WA, David Western for Victoria, Tom Redwood for South Australia, Gabriella Cohen for Queensland and Melody Pool for the NSW shows.
Tickets are on sale.
