Electronic music festival Electric Island will make its grand return to Australia in 2026, in an event where acclaimed dance icons meet impeccable beachside locations.
In 2026, headliners Armand Van Helden and Above & Beyond will be joined by a slew of unmissable local and international powerhouses.
The series will kick off with a one-day instalment at Adelaide’s Glenelg Beach, before hitting Melbourne’s RIVA and Perth’s Cottesloe Beach for two-day weekenders.
Armand Van Helden will hit up all three cities. Across his three-decade-long career, he has become one of house music’s most cherished names, making a name for himself recording for labels like Strictly Rhythm, Henry St, Logic and ZYX. Armand is behind some of the biggest club and Top 40 hits, like ‘My My My’, ‘Barbra Streisand’, and ‘I Want Your Soul’.
Fellow headliner, hitting Melbourne and Perth, is the internationally revered, GRAMMY Award-nominated dance act Above & Beyond. The trio formed in 2000, and are behind an internationally-renowned radio show, Group Therapy, have toured the world, and shaped a catalogue of iconic dance anthems.
Joining Armand on all dates will be local electronic royalty Flight Facilities (DJ set). Since emerging with ‘Crave YOu’ in 2010, the award-winning duo have consistently crafted feel-good soundtracks which make people want to dance. They rose to fame through cult hits like ‘Clair de Lune’ and ‘Sunshine’, performing to the biggest stages at home and abroad.
“Next year our Electric Island run expands into three states,” Electric Island Promoter Damian Gelle says, “with five open-air shows across some of Australia’s finest shorelines including our debut at Melbourne’s lush Riviera Beach Club in St Kilda.”
Tickets on sale 23 October.
