EELS fans have been gifted another 2020 surprise, with Mark Oliver Everett aka E and band mates releasing another new single.
After dropping 'Baby Let's Make It Real' last month, 'Who You Say You Are' is a wonderful, three-minute release of charming, sparkling, acoustic indie pop. "Here's a way to forget your troubles for 2 minutes and 55 seconds," attests E. "Listen to this song and think about my problems instead. You're welcome!" Bless.
The song was recorded at the EELS' Los Feliz, California studio. A limited-edition 7” single of 'Baby Let's Make It Real' and 'Who You Say You Are' will be available soon, limited to 500 copies.
