Irish indie pop, indietronica artist, EDEN returns to Australia this spring.
The 'XO', 'Sex' and 'Crash' singer-songwriter will headline concerts in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in November. "It's been too long," EDEN says.Last year, EDEN released his third studio album 'ICYMI'; a record that began life at the start of the pandemic when the multi-instrumentalist had returned to his home town Dublin to wait out the lockdowns as well as process the death of a friend and breakdown of a relationship.
"So many things in my life wrapped up and there was no going back," he says. "Suddenly I was back in my childhood bedroom and it was all very bizarre."
This spurred the creative freedom to write 'ICYMI''s centrepiece, 'Call Me Back'. "I was playing the chords over and over again and the melody for that song came and I started bawling my eyes out," he shares.
"That's never happened before, I've never been in tears over music in that way. It felt like a new horizon." 'ICYMI' also features the singles 'Modern Warfare', 'Balling' and 'Sci-Fi'.
Tickets on sale from 12pm (local time) on 23 June.
