Seven months before it arrives, Earth Frequency Festival (EFF) have confirmed their 2021 event (12-15 February) will go ahead.

While the short-term future remains cloudy at best, EFF are confident and encouraged by the progress made in Queensland (the festival’s home state) since social distancing restrictions were first enforced that a 2021 festival is possible.

However, everything is dependant on keeping the COVID-19 pandemic in check locally. “To make everything as clear as possible from the get go, we have prepared the EFF Covid-19 Statement,” EFF organisers says. Click here to read the statement.

Whatever transpires over the next six, seven months, there is little doubt that EFF 2021 will be somewhat different to past gatherings including the number of people allowed onsite.

“For EFF2021, we are capping numbers at a maximum of 5,000 onsite including all crew, volunteers, artists etc.

“Previous years have sold out so we encourage you to pick up your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

“Limited gate sales may be available but this is not guaranteed. Gate sales will be announced a few days before the festival begins. Thanks so much for your support!”

Those wishing to participate at EFF2021, applications are now open for music artists (until 31 August), all other creatives (until 31 October), while market stalls and volunteer/ media/ staff applications close 31 December. However, it is recommenced to apply as early as possible.
