DZ Deathrays
National Music Editor, based in Brisbane, Australia.
'Passionate about true crime docos, the Swannies, golf and sleep, I’ve been writing about music for 20-plus years. What I’ve learnt? There’s two types of music – good and bad.’

Brisbane thrash dance-punks DZ Deathrays and Sydney swamp-rockers The Snowdroppers headline the Caxton Street Festival’s second round line-up announce.

DZ Deathrays, who scored their second ARIA award winning the best 'Hard Rock/ Metal' album last November, and The Snowdroppers join the already announced: The Beautiful Girls, Phil Jamieson of Grinspoon, Thelma Plum, Hey Geronimo and Good Oak, plus many more.

Rounding out the second line-up announcement are local favourites Chukale, bringing their Afro Cuban Salsa sounds to the festival, along with MC Dr Rhythm and a DJ stage presented by Soul Has No Tempo.

Now in its 21st year, Caxton Street Festival is one of the most-loved annual, street parties in Queensland, celebrating everything the rejuvenated Caxton Street precinct has to offer with street eats and seafood, pop-up bars and a great line-up of live entertainment.
