A decade since they released their ARIA Award-winning 'Black Rat' album, dance-rock punks DZ Deathrays will take the acclaimed record on tour with a six-date national run this winter.
An album that produced the hits 'Gina Works At Hearts', 'Less Out Of Sync' and 'Reflective Skull' (not forgetting the album charmers like 'Northern Lights', 'Ocean Exploder' and 'Keep Myself On Edge'), DZ Deathrays will headline concerts in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Hobart, and Adelaide June-July.'Black Rat' was also a record that shone an international spotlight on DZ Deathrays, the collection of songs amassing a staggering 14 million streams on Spotify alone; while Shane Parsons and Simon Ridley scored the 2014 ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album.
The band would also tour 15 different countries the next 2 years (including a Foo Fighters stadium tour as well as supporting Ratatat and Biffy Clyro) solidifying their reputation as live warriors, which has only grown in the ensuring years with former touring member, guitarist Lachlan Ewbank joining the group full-time in 2018. While last year, DZ's welcomed Violent Soho's bassist Luke Henery to their live show.
