Brisbane's self-confessed 'biggest ratbags', Dune Rats will headline the relaunch of Brisbane's The Foundry.
Other acts to join Dune Rats at the 20 August event include Sydney skate-fuzz-punk outfit Palms plus locals Orphans Orphans and Major Leagues.
The night will also witness unveiling of Brisbane's newest record shop, bar/ cafe and performance space, Foundry Records, which will be located at street level on Wickham Street. Oh and the presser says a 'surprise acoustic act will open the night' downstairs at Foundry Records.
Embracing the record revolution and then adding to it with gusto, Foundry Records completes the picture, complementing the Live Room upstairs and feeding into The Foundry Studios on the third level. And it's far from just a record shop.
With inbuilt cafe, bar and small stage, Foundry Records is the face of the whole shebang on street level, offering a communal space to meet, eat and listen to tunes.

The Foundry's upstairs live room have also revealed a diverse range of regular entertainment: a new, cutting-edge club night concept for Thursday nights 'Yowie'; plus 'Strictly Speaking' - live hip hop on Sundays.
The Foundry relaunch takes place 20 August. A limited number of tickets will be made available to the general public.
