We’ve remained radically optimistic about UK pop princess Dua Lipa returning to Australian shores. . . And it has paid off!
The ‘Houdini’ and ‘Physical’ songstress, fresh from scoring a Best Choreography trophy at the MTV Video Music Awards, has dropped Australian tour dates for her ‘Radical Optimism’ tour in 2025. This follows Dua’s highly anticipated debut on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage earlier this year, where she was praised by critics and fans alike.
The ‘Radical Optimism’ tour will kick off in late 2024 overseas, with Singapore getting the first taste of the show. The first leg ends in December in South Korea, and Australia will be lucky enough to be Dua’s first stops in 2025.
“They said they ‘miss 2022 Dua’, well I’ll be hauling ass for the foreseeable and I can’t wait to bring this show to you!” Dua says on her socials.
‘Radical Optimism’, Dua’s third studio album, managed to hit #1 in 11 countries and climbed to #2 down under. In the US, the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, and #2 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Dua’s huge in the music world, but she’s made waves elsewhere. In 2022, she launched Service95, a global style, culture and society editorial platform comprising a weekly newsletter, book club, and the Dua Lipa: At Your Service podcast. She’s also added ‘designer’ to her resume as a co-designer of Versace’s La Vacant collection alongside Donatella Versace herself.
